Hon. Uluocha Chimex, the Abia State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), has extended congratulations to all successful candidates whose names were recently published by the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC). In his press release, Hon. Chimex encouraged candidates to engage in issue-based campaigns as they prepare to reach out to voters in their respective wards.
To promote effective coordination, he advised all political parties to establish campaign councils across Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring a structured approach to their activities. Hon. Chimex also emphasized IPAC’s commitment to maintaining high standards of objective campaigning and warned that any deviations would be addressed by the council.
He commended ABSIEC for its efforts and dedication to conducting free and fair elections. Additionally, he expressed appreciation for Governor Alex Otti’s stance of non-interference, which has allowed ABSIEC to operate independently in organizing the upcoming elections.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Chimex urged political parties to avoid actions that could lead to unrest and wished the candidates success in the forthcoming elections.
Signed,
Hon. Uluocha Chimex
