Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account / Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
This role requires a combination of sales acumen and accounting skills to ensure that financial transactions align with sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to meet revenue targets.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts.
Account Management:
Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
Track and monitor sales performance, updating records in the CRM system.
Assist in resolving customer queries related to sales and account management.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly sales reports and provide insights into sales performance and revenue growth.
Ensure that all sales activities are accurately reflected in financial reports.
Assist in managing budgets for sales initiatives and campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Provide after-sales support and handle client feedback or complaints professionally.
Implement customer retention strategies to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
Sales Administration:
Coordinate with the finance and operations teams to ensure smooth processing of sales orders and deliveries.
Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions, including contracts, invoices, and payments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
Must have 2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of sales techniques and financial/accounting principles.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the IT or telecommunications industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
