We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant (Branch Accountant)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Recording expenses and preparing financial reports.
Working with external auditors.
Ensuring the accuracy of bookkeeping and that the bookkeeping is compliant with state and federal laws.
Recording disbursements and payments.
Ensuring that systems are up to date.
Examining financial documents and financial transactions to ensure compliance and rectify any discrepancies.
Preparing tax returns, such as PAYE, Vat returns, ITF, NISTF and other dues.
Work with team to complete month-end and year-end closing off processes
Prepare documents for and liaise with external auditors
Preparation of branch monthly payroll and relevant schedules
Having inter- branch reconciliation
Monthly banks’ reconciliations.

Qualifications

Bsc. / HND in Accounting
2 – 3 years of experience in similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.:
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Salary
N300,000 monthly.
