Akan Tommey consults Eket Female Stakeholders

In line with his promise of inclusivity pre and post election era, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Eket Local Government, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, on Friday, consulted the Female stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Eket Local Government Area.
The event took place at the palace of the paramount ruler of Eket Local Government and had in attendance women in their ranks and file.

She thanked the leadership of the party in Eket Local Government for the choice of the Vice Chairmanship Candidate Mrs. Inyang Akpawan, who is also the Assistant Secretary, Eket Female Stakeholders.
The Chairmanship Candidate Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, was presented to the Female Stakeholders by the Transition Committee Chairman Hon. Comfort Emmanuel and the PDP Chapter Chairman, Hon. Uso Hanson.
In his remarks, the Chairmanship hopeful, Mr. Akan Tommey, expressed his appreciation for the women’s support and assured them that their support will not be taken for granted.
In the same vein, It was a moment of excitement for Elder Ekaette David Etukudo when he received the Chairmanship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, whose visit was described as a mark of respect, humility and tribute to political history.
Elder Ekaette David Etukudo, a pioneer member of the Peoples Democratic Party and a heroic symbolic to the transformation of the party while receiving the Chairmanship Candidate praised him for sustaining development in the party which is pivotal to the growth of the party.
Etukudoh, assured Tommey of his family’s support and prayed for his victory in the Oct. 5th local government election.
He also commended the steadfastness of DG of Campaigns Chief, C. H. Isong and Spokesperson of the Campaign Chief A. S. Idim, for being instrumental to the growth of the party.
Mr. Tommey while speaking thanked Elder Ekaette for his fatherly roles and support promising that, he will be celebrated in a special way.
