BREAKING: “There is No Crisis” – PDP Governors Reveal Position on Party Disputes

The governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have instructed feuding members to revert to the status quo.

This directive was issued by the Chairman of the forum and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed after a meeting with fellow governors that ended in the early hours of Tuesday.

The PDP leader made the disclosure while addressing journalists before travelling to Ondo for the party’s campaign.

“There is no crisis,” Mohammed declared, citing agreements reached by the Governors, Board of Trustees (BoT), and the National Assembly caucus to revert to the status quo.

Mohammed announced that all suspensions have been nullified.

This development comes after Yayari Mohammed was named as a replacement to the acting National Chairman of the party, Illiya Damagum, following the split in the National Working Committee (NWC), which resulted in suspensions on both sides last week.
