FULL LIST: Dingyadi, Maiha, Ojukwu’s widow, Tinubu appoints new ministers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers into his cabinet.

They are Ambassador Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu, widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Sir Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and Jumoke Oduwole, ex-Executive Secretary to the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari
Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Ministry of Livestock Development; Rt.Hon.Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Minister of State
Education.

Sunday Dare, former Minister of Sports, has been named Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.

Although not clearly stated, Dare is suspected to have replaced Ajuri Ngelale, who in September resigned as Presidential spokesman amid controversy.

The president charged the newly appointed cabinet members to see their appointments as a call to serve the nation.

He added that all appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualisation of the government’s priorities.
