HEART OF COMFORT FOUNDATION BRINGS HOPE TO JUNIOR SECONDARY STUDENTS IN EKET

In a heartwarming display of compassion and commitment to education, the Heart of Comfort Foundation (HoC) held its Batch II School Fee Support Examination (SFSE) for Junior Secondary Students today, Saturday 14th September, 2024.

Amongst the 80 students who registered for the examination, 60 enthusiastically sat for the exams at the prestigious MediaAcademy International in Eket. The students all demonstrated high level of focus and dedication throughout the exercise.

Mrs. Anietie Wilson, the Program Coordinator, praised the transparency and integrity of the process, ensured by the Independent Examiners contracted for the purpose. Anietie maintained that the organization is very thrilled with the turnout and especially, the students’ seriousness during the exercise.

The Secretary of the Foundation, Mrs. Iniobong Akpan, applauded the participants while appreciating them for their excellent behavior throughout the process as she likens same to a standard Junior Secondary Examination obtainable in private schools.

Elder Iniobong Akpan, the Program Development Officer while responding to several enquiries by parents and guardians, explained that the final awarding process practically prioritizes INDIGENT STUDENTS, using a preset questionnaire that assesses student’s eligibility based on their Indigentcy status alongside their scores. He emphasized that HoC is committed to supporting those who need the SFS most.

The Chairman of the Foundation, Engr. Emmanuel Wilson expressed gratitude to all participants and gifted them with refreshments and transport fares while promising to extend proper invitations to all successful and eligible winners to receive their cheques in few days.

The top five indigent performers will receive N100,000.00 each in School Fee Support, empowering them to continue their education without strenuous financial burdens to their guardians.

Heart of Comfort Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to friends and partners, particularly, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, whose generous seed-donation ignited the foundation’s life-changing initiatives.
