We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision Responsibility:

You will conduct thorough market research to identify user needs, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
You will develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s business goals.
You will prioritize product features and functionalities based on user feedback, market demands, and business objectives.

User Experience Responsibility:

You will advocate for a user-centric approach throughout the product development process.
You will conduct user research (e.g., surveys, user interviews) to understand user needs, pain points, and desired functionalities.
You will collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our products.

Product Development & Management Responsibility:

You will work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to translate product vision into actionable plans.
You will define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
You will manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring features are delivered on time and within budget.

Product Launch & Optimization Responsibility:

You will develop comprehensive launch strategies to maximize product adoption and user satisfaction.
You will conduct data analysis to continuously optimize product features and performance.
You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user metrics to track product success.

Collaboration & Communication Responsibility:

You will effectively communicate product vision and strategy to cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales).
You will collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
You will craft compelling presentations and documentation to communicate product plans and progress to key stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field.
A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management within the payments or fintech industry.
Any relevant certifications in product management, project management, or payments technology are advantageous.
Deep understanding of payment systems, financial technology, and the broader payments landscape.
Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting data to drive product decisions.
Proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges, demonstrating resilience in overcoming obstacles.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, influencing skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards a common goal.
