Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has visited Akwa Ibom State to condole with Governor Umo Eno over the recent passing of his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Eno.
In the company of the First Lady was the wife of Vice President, Her Excellency Hajiya Nana Shettima; Wife of the Senate President, Her Excellency, Ekaette Unoma Akpabio; Wife of the Deputy Senate President, Hajiya Barau Jibrin; wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hajiya Fatima Tajudeen Abbas; Wife of the Chief of Staff to the President Salamatu Gbajabiamila; Wives of state governors and wives of serving ministers among others.
The visit by Senator Tinubu follows an outpouring of condolences from prominent leaders, including governors, senators, and top government officials
Earlier, Governor Eno, in a broadcast to the people of Akwa Ibom, remembered his wife as “everything a man could wish for in a virtuous woman.”
He described her as his “prayer partner, counsellor, cheer-leader, best critic, homemaker, and permanently smiling.”
