ONE YEAR SCORECARD: Alex Otti Has Changed The Image Of Abia State – Chief Charles Nwangwa | WATCH VIDEO

 

Industrialist and Political Stakeholder Chief Charles Nwangwa, has posited that Governor Alex Otti has changed the image of Abia State.

 

Chief Nwangwa who stated this during an exclusive media interaction with FLO FM RADIO in Umuahia and live streamed by ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER under the special programme DR ALEX OTTI ONE YEAR IN OFFICE SCORECARD, revealed that Gov. Otti has changed the narrative of the state and everyone can see it. He went further to state that outside Abia State people are testifying that Abians got it right during the last election.

 

Chief Nwangwa who is also a prominent supporter of Governor Otti, also explained that the governor has distributed projects and appointments equitably to every senatorial zone of the state.

“In infrastructure, the governor is doing the Umuahia, Bende, Isuikwuato and up to Arochukwu road, that road covers both Abia Central and Abia North. Look at what the governor is doing in Aba which is Abia South, he commissioned a road in the early stage of his government in Ukwa, he doing other roads from Aba to Obingwa. The projects are equitably shared.  If it has not reached your area, be patient it will reach” he states.

 

In the area of politics and why People’s Democratic Party (PDP) faithfuls are leaving the PDP for APC and not Labour Party, Chief Nwangwa explained that Gov. Otti is not worried. He made it clear that the governor is focused on development of Abia State.

 

“We told the governor to focus on changing the narrative in Abia State, this is his one year in office it is not time for politics. Moreover, people are coming into Labour Party in quietly, no need for the noise, this is the time to develop Abia State. When politics time comes, you will see what will happen”

 

“In case you don’t know, over 60% of well-meaning Abians are with Otti and what you need to win the election is 50.20000%” he posited.

On the issue of salary payment, Chief Nwangwa explained that the governor has done well in meeting the salary obligation of all workers and that those who have not received their salaries may not have been verified or they have other issues bordering on how they were employed and due process.

 

He promised to raise the issue with governor so that those with legitimate cases can be looked into and resolved immediately.
