“Saturday Night Live” premiered its 50th season with former cast member Maya Rudolph reprising her role as Vice President Kamala Harris in a cold opener featuring a parody of all 2024 presidential and vice-presidential candidates. Alumnus Dana Carvey also made his return in an appearance as President Joe Biden.
