South Africa Unveils 5-Yr Visa Policy For Nigerians, Reveals Details of Passport Requirement

Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa on Tuesday announced a new five-year visa policy for Nigerian tourists.

The president made the announcement at the opening of the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission (BNC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to Ramaphosa, tourists and businessmen from Nigeria can how apply don visas without having to submit their passports.

With this new policy, businessmen and tourists can be granted a five-year multiple entry visa from Nigeria to South Africa.

Ramaphosa stated that this process has been simplified to facilitate and ease travel for Nigerians.

“Our efforts to create a favourable environment include our simplified visa process for Nigerian business people to travel to South Africa. Qualifying Nigerian business people can be granted a five-year multiple entry visa,” Ramaphosa said.
