We are building a resilient economy, Shettima assures Nigerians

The vice president, Kashim Shettima has assured citizens that the Bola Tinubu-led administration is building a resilient economy that would favour all.

Speaking at the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES30) in Abuja on Monday, October 14, the vice president said that this kind of economy would be able to resist all forms of shock.

According to Shettima, while the present administration is focused on prioritizing diversification, it is important to also have a resilient economy.

He said the Tinubu administration has embarked on bold reforms that could create a sustainable environment for the needed growth.

“Our focus is on sectors that can offer inclusive and sustainable growth, such as agriculture, manufacturing, and the digital economy.

“I am pleased to report that we are making significant strides in addressing several key issues, including regulatory and ease of doing business challenges,” Shettima said.
