In a bid to consolidate on the electoral promises and the political ideology of the Labour Party. The Abia State Labour Party has again re-emphasised it’s assurance on its political promises to Ndi Abia as the Party seek the votes from the good people Abia State in the November 2 LG Elections.
These promises and assurances where made In a chart with Trustbase News, where the Abia SWC of the Labour Party, demanded and promised Ndi Abia for their Party Candidates in all levels to be voted for as they consistently maintained their unwavering believes and commitments with God and Abians in the process of completing Abia redemption which they said is Divine.
Their reasons for Abians to vote them and the promises made are as follows:
“What is happening in labour party today is of God, because of His love and plan for Abia God’s own state.
The Chairmen are not hand picked by the state governor so it won’t be easy for them to be bossed around or pocketed.
Secondly it will foster rapid development to local communities which is the primary reason for their creation. The state govt will be on their throat and that will not allow the chairmen to squander Abia money. There will certainly be massive development across rural areas.
If the chairmen are proxies of the governor be sure that he will influence them just like what we see in other states.
This is when we will experience three tier of government as enshrined in our constitution. The state government should concentrate his vision for Abia in the state. The Independence of the LGA’s will help make room for healthy competition in governance. we will as well use the level of their developmental strides to evaluate our state govt.
Furthermore, it will not be easy for the governors to build a grass root structure in all the local governments which they easily use to rig themselves back into office over the years.
Moreso, it will help good brains to reach authorities at grassroot levels to offer leadership assistance that can help fast track development. It is usually difficult especially with the kind of politics that go on in Nigeria for the incumbents to be open to good ideas that can help foster progress mainly if they are coming from perceived opponents.
Finally it will afford Labour Party opportunity to translate on our local governments our model vision for a new Abia. An Abia where God will be the leader and other leaders are servants..; An Abia that will be noted as God’s own state indeed.
Labour Party mission in Abia above all is to produce leaders who will not steal ego ndi Abia, leaders without corrupt tendencies that will use ego ndi Abia to work for them and not to write them off.
Ndi Abia come saturday 2ND of November 2024 vote all labour candidates let’s show the world what effective, God fearing. transformational leadership will look like.
We cannot afford to go back to Egypt having suffered in the hands of leaders who cared less of ndi Abia and God’s own state.
