Eid-el Fitr: Maintain A Holy, Peaceful Life – Abia LP Chairman, Igara To Muslims
The Labour Party Chairman in Abia State, Mr Ceekay Igara, has felicitated with the Muslim faithfuls as they mark the 2024 Eid el Fitr.
Igara in his goodwill message on Monday, charged Muslims all over the country to live a Holy, peaceful life even beyond the Ramadan as Islam demands.
His message read;
Happy Eid-El-Fitr To Our Muslim Brothers
On behalf of myself and the entire Labour Party Abia State, I wish to felicitate with our Muslim brothers as they mark this year’s Eid-el Fitr celebration , marking the end of the Ramadan fast .
I implore you to eschew all activities and actions that would rubbish the essence of this festive period, rather embrace a life of holiness, peace, sacrifice, selflessness, love and obedience to the tenets of Islam.
Also, I enjoin you to ensure peaceful coexistence among diverse people, not forgetting to observe these attributes beyond Ramadan.
