Journalists can apply for World Press Institute fellowship
DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 14, 2024 — World Press Institute (WPI) seeks applications for its fellowship, which brings together 10 professional journalists from all over the world and immerse them in the governance, politics, business, media, journalistic ethics and culture of the United States.
WPI will pay the following programme expenses: transportation, roundtrip airfare to the United States, travel within the United States related to the WPI programme, lodging, and a modest daily allowance to purchase food.
Applicants to the fellowship must have at least five years of full-time employment in print, broadcast or online journalism.
Interested applicants must be currently employed as non-U.S. journalists working outside of the United States.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
The application deadline is February 15, 2024.
